At Akeba Academy, our promise to our parents and children is to educate, develop, and provide quality-from every aspect of our program.
Our priority is to provide the best customer service to you and your child. We are not a perfect center, but we have set policies in place to guide our decisions and provide the best care for your child.
Akeba Academy is a place for children to learn and grow. We pride ourselves on the overall academic success of the children who attend our center. YOUR CHILD’S SUCCESS IS OUR SUCCESS.
Akeba Academy has cameras in each classroom. These cameras are for your viewing at any time. They are for the protection of your child.
FRONT DOOR ENTRY AND RAINY DAY AWNING
Parents can pull right up to the front door to safely and quickly bring their child into the center and stay protected underneath our awning in all types of weather.
KEYLESS SECURE ENTRY AND EXIT SYSTEM
The safety and security of your child is our first priority. Parents are issued a new code monthly to gain access to the inside of the center. We use this measure to protect the children from strangers and unknown persons entering the building unaware and without a photo ID.
Background checks are done on all employees through our local police department.
Our teachers and children run a fire drill and emergency procedure every month. We also have annual fire inspections documented and completed by the local AAA, City of Brunswick Fire Department and our sprinklers by Brunswick Sprinkler Systems.
VISION AND MISSION
The vision of Akeba Academy Learning Center is to provide an excellent learning environment to help children become academically strong, respectful of others, and to become achievers. We can accomplish this by building a team of teachers, staff, and parents who strive for excellence and to become their best selves and to give children their very best.
The Mission of Akeba Academy Learning Center is to provide the best care, safest environment, and developmentally appropriate curriculum for all children to learn, grow, explore, and demonstrate what they have learned at home.
